Asian celebrities are amongst the top earners in showbiz worldwide, raking in millions from their music or acting careers, topped off with lucrative brand deals. How then, do they spend their wealth?
We take a look at what Asia’s most famous stars love to splurge on.
AMITABH BACHCHAN

Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan owns an impressive fleet of supercars. According to GQ India, his collection consists of a Rolls Royce Phantom, a Range Rover Vogue, Porsche Cayman S, Bentley Continental GT and more.
G-DRAGON

K-pop idol G-Dragon is an avid art collector. Last year, the star moved into a US$7.3 million penthouse and took to Instagram to show off some art pieces he used to decorate the new home. The rapper’s collection includes expensive pieces such as Untitled (Big Yellow Dot) by Jonas Wood and Richard Prince’s Millionaire Nurse.
JACKIE CHAN

Hong-kong born Jackie Chan is one of the world’s most recognised superstars. According to 8Days, Chan reportedly owns a jaw-dropping collection of rosewood antique furniture, valued at S$26.3 million. His decadent mansion recently took the top spot in Korean variety show Mid-Year Live’s list of most luxuriously furnished celebrity homes.
JAY CHOU
Just like G-Dragon, singer Jay Chou is also a prominent art collector. The King of Mandopop recently collaborated with auction house Sotheby’s as the inaugural curator for its Contemporary Curated: Asia auction series.
“If we were to talk about my first contact with art, perhaps I started the moment I was born,” he said in a video promoting the collaboration. “My mum was an art teacher. I really enjoy exchanging ideas about art with her. And along the journey, I have met amazing people, who have gotten me further into the world of art.”
LISA
On and off the stage, Blackpink’s Lisa is a style icon. She owns several luxury watches and prior to becoming an ambassador for Bvlgari, the rapper was often seen donning Rolex timepieces, including the iconic ladies’ Datejust.
RM

BTS’ member RM has a vast collection of figurines, many of which are by contemporary artist Brian Donnelly, also known as Kaws. He displays them in his own personal recording studio, Rkive. According to Koreaboo, some of his pieces have even been featured in the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).
SANDARA PARK
Former 2NE1 member Sandara Park is a sneakerhead who owns over 1,000 pairs of shoes. In a Channel Duxx YouTube video, Park shared that her collection began with a Lanvin pair gifted to her by Korean rapper and music producer, Teddy Park. She now owns sneakers from Yeezy, Off-White, Gucci, Versace, Balenciaga and more.
