Chinese musician Lay Zhang is Bang & Olufsen’s newest global ambassador
Zhang, a member of K-pop group EXO, made his debut in a campaign showcasing the brand’s new Beoplay EQ earphones.

In recent months, a slew of Chinese celebrities have been announced as global ambassadors for luxury brands, pointing to the growing importance of Asian customers in the luxury market.
The latest to rack up yet another endorsement? Chinese musician, actor and producer Lay Zhang, who was recently announced as Bang & Olufsen’s newest global ambassador.
The Danish high-end consumer electronics brand announced the news on Instagram, accompanied by a campaign image of Zhang sporting the new Beoplay EQ earphones. The Beoplay EQ is the brand’s first true wireless earphones with adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC).

To celebrate the news, Bang & Olufsen created a playlist of Zhang’s music for its official Spotify account. Some of Zhang's hit songs found in the playlist include Joker, Honey and Sheep. You can check it out here.
Aside from Bang & Olufsen, Zhang was also ambassador of several other brands, including MAC Cosmetics, Calvin Klein, Chaumet and Ray-Ban.
