If you’re an indoor cycling devotee, the pandemic and resulting gym closures has undoubtedly inconvenienced your fitness routine. The good news? You can take your spin sessions home.
Homegrown fitness group CRU – which is behind cult indoor cycling studio CruCycle – is launching the CRU TV Bike, a spinning bike that lets you continue your sessions at home. Purchase of the bike comes with a 12-month CRU TV membership and a set of weights.
Soft launched in July 2020, CRUÂ TV is an online fitness subscription programme that offers signature classes including spin, boxing, HIIT, yoga and meditation. Fresh content is uploaded weekly.

The CRU TV Bike is equipped with a 21.5-inch touchscreen that also rotates 180 degrees to let users transition easily between cycling and floor-based cardio or strength workouts.Â

Other features of the bike include a stats page that lets you track your progress with post-workout statistics, magnetic resistance modulation for low maintenance, a power meter to measure distance, power output and cadence, and handlebars with spring lift assist for easy height adjustment.

Pre-orders for the bike begin on Jun 11, 7.30pm at crutvofficial.com. And to celebrate the launch of the CRU TV Bike and app, the group is holding a 50-minute live virtual charity bike ride on the day.Â
Proceeds from the charity bike ride will go to Food From The Heart, a non-profit organisation devoted to providing food support to the less fortunate in Singapore.
Bookings for the charity bike ride are now open on cru68.com.
